1 - Why did Redken release skincare products?

Redken know that 1 in 2 men worry about shaving problems. 55% Of men experience problems associated with irritation after shaving and are looking for solutions to soothe skin and remedy post-shave symptoms. Skincare is the fastest growing segment in the men's market with barber sales growth of +3.5%.

With the recent launch of Redken Brews Shave Cream, it was only natural to expand the shaving range with a post-shave solution suitable for all skin types. Although Redken Brews Shave Cream provides an extra comfortable shaving experience for sensitive skin, Redken Brews After Shave Balm is the brews addition to your shaving regime and will leave your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.

2 - What are the main benefits of the Redken Brews After Shave Balm?

Redken Brews After Shave Balm is an after shave product. It has been allergy tested and approved as a product suitable for all skin types. The lightweight formula hydrates, maintains skin hydration levels and soothes the skin after shaving. In this way, irritated and red skin are permanently prevented.

3 - What ingredient is used to soothe the skin after shaving?

Redken Brews After Shave Balm is a soothing formula that contains Aloe Vera. Although Aloe Vera has proven itself enough in skin care, Aloe Vera is also known as a trusted ingredient among men (and women, for that matter). In fact, we hear from Redken that 50% of men, when selecting an ideal personal care product, are more inclined to trust the product's action when it contains Aloe Vera.

4 - Is there alcohol in this aftershave balm and does it sting on my skin?

Redken indicates that there are 3 types of alcohol in this aftershave balm:

• Myristyl Alcohol
• Cetyl Alcohol
• Benzyl Alcohol

Myristyl Alcohol and Cetyl Alcohol contribute to skin hydration. Benzyl Alcohol contributes as a solvent, allowing the product to dry relatively quickly on the skin. A small amount of the latter is present.

In essence, the balm should not sting on the skin. However, overuse, improper use, or if you are allergic to an ingredient, this could occur.

5 - I don't suffer from irritation or red skin. Can I just use the balm?

Yes you can. Redken Brews After Shave Balm not only soothes the skin but also leaves it feeling nourished and hydrated. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly, leaves skin feeling refreshed and non-sticky. Use the product after showering as a skin boost during the hot summer months!

6 - How can I use the After Shave Balm with the Beard and Skin Oil?
