A practice head is indispensable for the hairdresser in training as well as for the more experienced hair stylist. What should you look for when buying a hairdresser's head?

• Is it human, natural or synthetic hair?
• How is the hair density?
• What is the length of the hair?
• And what about the implantation?

A practice head with human hair and natural implantation best matches reality, but then again, you pay more for this.

The hair length of the barber head simply determines what you want to practice on. And do you want braids or updos? Then you need a 50 cm or 60 cm practice head anyway.

The hair density of barber heads is different, because each person also has a different hair density. So by practicing on different hairdresser's heads with different densities, you also create a broader experience.
