Is this shampoo safe to use on color-treated hair?

Yes, Goldwell Elumen Shampoo is specifically formulated for Elumen color-treated hair. Its mild formula and acidic pH work together to protect color pigments and prevent fading while gently cleansing without stripping the hair.

How often should I use this shampoo?

Use Goldwell Elumen Shampoo as part of your regular hair care routine, ideally 2-3 times per week or as needed. This frequency helps maintain color vibrancy while allowing your color to develop and set properly between washes.

Does this shampoo work with both Elumen Play and permanent Elumen color?

Yes, this shampoo is designed for all Elumen color applications. It supports the fading effect of Elumen Play while protecting permanent Elumen color, making it ideal whether you prefer semi-permanent or lasting color results.

What makes the acidic pH important for colored hair?

The acidic pH closes the hair cuticle, which helps seal in color pigments and prevents them from washing out during shampooing. This is why Goldwell Elumen Shampoo's acidic formula significantly extends color longevity and maintains vibrancy wash after wash.

Can I use this shampoo on all hair types?

Yes, Goldwell Elumen Shampoo is suitable for all hair types, as long as your hair has been colored with Elumen. Its gentle formula adapts to different hair textures while maintaining its color-protective benefits.
