There are some combs, namely Type 1 and Type 19, where you have more choice. Below we briefly explain the differences:

Differences within Type 1:

• Type 1 - Plastic Black: This is the standard.
• Type 1 - Plastic Colored: Like the Plastic Black, but in color. For this type, you also have a No. 0.5 and 1.5. You don't have those with Plastic Black.
• Type 1 - Plastic with Metal Spring: Just as good as Black and Colored. Concerns a preference issue whether you want these.
• Type 1 - Plastic Premium: This is sturdier material and thus the highest quality!
• Type 1 - Plastic Left or Right Ear: Handy attachment for when you need to trim on the left or right side.

Differences within Type 19:

• Type 19 - Plastic Black: This is the standard.
• Type 19 - Plastic with Metal Slats. This is sturdier, but there are customers who find the feel of metal blades on the scalp unpleasant. We see that these attachment combs are mostly used for trimming animals.
